The Board sets AEF’s strategic direction and monitors its progress, while overseeing financial stewardship, risk and compliance.
The Board is also responsible for supporting and holding the Chief Executive accountable, and protecting AEF’s long-term sustainability.

Our Board
Carly Bush is an experienced executive leader and board director with more than two decades of leadership experience spanning financial services, philanthropy, governance and the not-for-profit sector.
Most recently Chief Executive of Reconciliation NSW, Carly previously served on the organisation’s Board before stepping into executive leadership, guiding the organisation through a significant period of growth and change. Her career has included senior leadership across investment management, risk and governance, with particular expertise in strategy, building high-performing teams, organisational sustainability and funding diversification.
Carly is also a Director of BlakDance and One Tribe Mama Project. Her broader social impact work includes initiatives focused on creating economic independence and opportunity for women, including years supporting Mission in Action in Kenya.
As Chair of the Australian Endometriosis Foundation, Carly brings both significant governance experience and a personal connection to the organisation’s mission. Having lived with endometriosis herself, she is passionate about ensuring young people affected by the disease are heard, supported and equipped to advocate for themselves.

Tegan McKenna
Tegan McKenna is a senior finance leader with experience across financial management, governance, procurement and organisational strategy, and currently serves as Director, Financial Services at Charles Sturt University.
A Chartered Accountant by training, Tegan moved into the university sector in 2016 and represents CSU on the Executive Committee of the Australasian Universities Procurement Network, leading work focused on responsible and Indigenous procurement and helping strengthen environmental, social and governance practices across the higher education sector.
Her leadership and contribution have been recognised through multiple awards, including the Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Award for Social Responsibility. More recently, Tegan contributed to the Commonwealth Prac Payment program, helping establish systems that have provided more than $1 million in financial support to students undertaking mandatory professional placements.
Having lived with endometriosis and adenomyosis since 2013, Tegan brings a personal commitment to the Australian Endometriosis Foundation’s mission. Based in regional NSW, she is particularly passionate about ensuring young women in rural and regional communities have access to information, support and healthcare.

Sarah Taylor GAICD
Sarah is a senior communications and engagement executive with almost three decades of experience spanning corporate affairs, marketing, stakeholder engagement and organisational leadership.
Sarah is currently Director of Community Engagement at Shore, where she sits within the School’s senior leadership team and leads work focused on strengthening relationships, reputation and engagement across the broader school community.
Across her career, Sarah has held senior communications and corporate affairs roles across some of Australia’s largest and most complex organisations, with experience spanning education, financial services, insurance, property, government and aged care. Her career has included roles with RSL LifeCare, Gallagher, icare NSW, Lendlease, MYOB and the NSW Government. Sarah brings particular expertise in strategic communications, reputation and crisis management, stakeholder engagement, brand and marketing, and building trusted communities around organisations and their purpose.
Sarah’s experience strengthens AEF’s ability to grow its profile, further its relationships with the community and ensure the voices of young people remain at the centre of how the organisation communicates and engages.

Bella Conyngham
Bella is a philanthropy and social impact leader with experience spanning strategic engagement, partnership building, sustainable finance and collective giving.
Bella is Director, Engagement (NSW & ACT) at Philanthropy Australia, the national peak body for philanthropy. In this role, Bella leads engagement across one of Australia’s largest philanthropic communities by working with trusts, foundations, families, professional advisers, intermediaries and not-for-profit organisations to support more effective giving.
Bella is also the co-founder of The Purpose Fund, a collective giving initiative created to make philanthropy more accessible. Through the Fund, Bella is helping build a new generation of everyday philanthropists and connect people directly with high-impact grassroots organisations. In addition, Bella is an active member of NEXUS, a global community of emerging philanthropists, social entrepreneurs and impact investors working across more than 70 countries to advance social change.
As a Director of the Australian Endometriosis Foundation, Bella brings knowledge of philanthropy, partnerships and the for-purpose sector, helping strengthen AEF’s capacity to create long-term impact for young people affected by endometriosis.
DIRECTOR
Danny Kim
Danny is an experienced finance executive and business adviser with more than 15 years of leadership experience spanning high-growth start-ups, established businesses and ASX-listed companies.
Across his career, Danny has worked at the intersection of financial strategy, commercial growth and corporate governance, with expertise spanning financial management, audit, risk, capital raising and strategic decision-making. He has supported organisations through periods of growth and transformation, helping leadership teams build the financial discipline and governance structures required to scale sustainably.
Danny holds a Bachelor of Business and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
As a Director of the Australian Endometriosis Foundation, Danny brings significant financial and commercial expertise to the Board, helping strengthen AEF’s financial stewardship as the organisation continues to grow. Having supported his wife through endometriosis and infertility, Danny understands the impact the disease can have not only on the person diagnosed, but on partners and families around them.

Samantha Campbell
Samantha is the Company Secretary of the Australian Endometriosis Foundation and has been part of AEF since its establishment in 2023, joining as one of the Foundation’s inaugural members.
Since then, Samantha has grown alongside the organisation, progressing from an active volunteer and community contributor into a key governance role supporting the Board and AEF’s strategic operations. As Company Secretary, she coordinates Board processes, prepares agendas and minutes, maintains governance records and supports the Foundation to meet its governance and compliance responsibilities.
Samantha continues to invest in her governance capability and is currently completing formal governance training with Just Governance, further strengthening the skills she brings to AEF’s Board and organisational development.
Having been part of AEF from its earliest days, Samantha brings both a detailed understanding of the organisation and a strong commitment to its future. Her progression from inaugural member to Company Secretary reflects the Foundation’s commitment to developing emerging leaders and creating meaningful pathways for young people to build leadership experience.
